Blogging in education should be moderated by the teacher. It is a good way for students to comment or ask questions about the assignment outside of class. Teachers use blogs to post helpful websites, homework, school events, notes, etc. Parents can also access the blog to see what is happening in their child's classroom. If the teacher does not moderate the comments, they may not relate to the purpose of the blog.
